As part of Tony! Toni! Toné!, Wiggins helped create timeless hits like Feels Good, It Never Rains (In Southern California), and Anniversary. His smooth guitar work and soulful vocals defined the group’s signature style, blending classic soul with contemporary R&B.

Fun fact: Wiggins once ran a studio in Oakland where a young Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child recorded early music before their rise to fame.
Beyond his work with the group, Wiggins was a respected producer and mentor, working with artists like Destiny’s Child and Keyshia Cole. He was deeply connected to his Oakland roots, giving back to his community through music education and mentorship.
His passing is a tremendous loss, but his influence will live on through the songs and artists he helped shape. Rest in peace, Dwayne Wiggins.
